1. Take a trip to the zoo

4. Learn at the museum

For a more educational yet wholesome day with the kids, visit the Perot Museum of Nature and Science and view interesting dioramas and exhibits on the human body, space, and the natural world.

5. Go up the Reunion Tower

Get a breathtaking view of the entire Dallas area by visiting the Reunion Tower and have lunch at the GeO-Deck. There, savor delicious meals prepared at Cloud Nine. But the best part about this experience is that you’ll fall in love with the DFW.

6. Score some hole-in-ones

If you love golf, then you’ll love having a fun time at Topgolf, with over 74 golf bays and a restaurant for when you and the kids have a bad case of the munchies. While you’re at it, have your chance at the batting cage.

7. Go on a park crawl

Nothing beats going on a stroll around the DFW area numerous parks. Klyde Warren Park, for instance, features open green space, a botanical garden, and a performance stage. Located right smack in Dallas’ downtown area, the park is a great urban getaway you and the whole family could enjoy.

8. Get creative

Need to stimulate your creativity? Visit the Dallas Museum of Art. With exhibition spaces totaling 159,000 square feet, the museum houses art pieces and artifacts from across the world. No doubt, it offers enough masterpieces to inspire the artist within!

9. Go on a healthy hike

Be one with nature by going on a hike along numerous trails surrounding the DFW area. Oak Cliff Preserve is one such destination frequented by hiking fans. The trails that stretch 8 miles are ideal for biking or going on a nature walk.

10. Give your kids the best camp experience

The installations in this eclectic art experience feature pop-ups and immersive art pieces that could really bring out the creative in you!

13. Satisfy your cravings for sugar

The whole family will surely love seeing numerous installations made entirely from sweets.
